La Rosa Accomodation In Lanjaron, Las Alpujarras
The en-suite also has an original small ground level window. The living room is a good size for sitting round the old log fire if it’s cool and is open plan onto the kitchen area. La Rosa is also part of the original farmhouse and has thick stone walls and original dark oak beams.For outside dining or relaxing and reading there is a quaint walled patio area, with views through an old almond tree over the mountains and village of Lanjaron.
Down one side we have a number of sun beds with shade of olive trees and large umbrellas. To the end there is an honesty bar with cooking facilities and a barbeque, (which can be used by arrangements). I often use this area for clients evening meals so there are a number of tables and chairs set up The pool, bar and bbq.area are surrounded by trees and hedges so it is very private and sheltered. |
La Rosa is like a cave… its only
window is high above the bed, which is at ground level, its lovely
and dark in there so great for getting a good nights sleep! Also it
keeps it nice and cool for the summer nights and cozy for the winter.
Situated behind the main house is the
large swimming pool approximately 12x10 and 8ft deep, which makes it
very popular for diving. It has wide stone steps and a slope in one
corner for those needing a steady approach. It is up and running
from Easter until the school half term around the end of October and
can be used at any time.
